Megan was away at school when she contacted me about photographing her wedding. Since she was out of town, we weren’t able to actually meet in person until several months later at her engagement session. When her engagement session arrived, it was so much fun to finally be able to meet this amazing girl that I had been emailing, texting, and chatting with over the phone!
Megan and Logan met at the end of their freshman year of college and, although they were practically inseparable for a year after they met, they actually ended up parting ways and dating other people for the next two years! Fate led them back together at a chance meeting in a bar and it became crystal clear to them that they were meant to be together. Megan and Logan are two of the sweetest people you will ever meet and what makes them especially wonderful is their goofy sense of humor!
When Logan proposed he recreated their first date by taking Megan on a hike at Garden of the Gods, then spoiled her with lunch at Blue Sky Vineyards. He then led Megan to a special gazebo where he got down on one knee and asked her to be his wife.
Everything about Megan and Logan’s wedding was filled with sentiment; their ceremony was so tender and I just loved how personal the toasts were during the reception! It was very clear to me that these two found their way back to each other for a reason and that they have a very long and bright future ahead of them!
