Chelsea and Michael celebrated their 6th wedding anniversary with a gorgeous early spring photo session in Newburgh with Indiana Photographer, Shillawna Ruffner. These two were introduced by their cousins during their freshman year in college and, after 4 great years of friendship, Michael proposed to Chelsea on a snow-covered bridge in their favorite canyon they were snowshoeing up to! How romantic!
This adventurous couple hasn’t slowed down one bit since their wedding. They are now raising a family of three children and riding the roller coaster that comes with completing the last year of medical school.
When I asked this couple what their favorite thing about each other is Michael said, “I love that Chelsea is always looking for ways to help others, and is aware of their needs.” Chelsea replied, “I love that Michael wants to be with us. If he has free time he wants to spend it with me and the kids.” If those two love-filled sentiments don’t melt your heart, I don’t know what will!
I adore that Chelsea and Michael celebrated their love with a collection of images that will preserve this moment in time, both for them and for their children! I also adore that we incorporated some fresh florals expertly crafted by Emerald Design. The bouquet adds some whimsy and is such a great accent piece. I would love it if all of my couples showed up to their sessions with a prop as pretty as this one!
Take a look at the beautiful images below and embrace the warmth their love brings to the dawning of spring.
