BreeAna and Kyle met through a mutual friend at a USI baseball party. Kyle played baseball for the university and Bree is a big fan of baseball (and baseball players)! Kyle’s friend introduced them and all Bree could say to Kyle was “I follow you on Instagram,” and was so embarrassed, she ran back home to her apartment. After a few months, her friends convinced her to send him a message. That night, they stayed up all night long talking.
Kyle is an avid kite builder and flyer and eventually got Bree into the hobby. Kyle began drafting plans to build a huge kite. He shopped for all of the supplies he needed from local craft stores and then told Bree he needed to buy a sewing machine. She taught him how to sew, and he would stay up all night long sewing the kite together. On May 7, 2018 Bree picked her dog, Boots, up from home and met Kyle at the park for a picnic. When she arrived, she saw Kyle running back and forth working so hard to get the giant kite he made to fly. Bree was instructed to stay in her car until she saw the kite flying, and once it was in the air, she saw that Kyle had sewn the words “Marry Me” into the kite! How adorable is that?! Once she was able to get to him, Kyle dropped to one knee, and BreeAna said YES!!
We returned to the campus of USI for their engagement session and I’m sure so many memories came flooding back to these two love birds as we snapped the afternoon away!
Kyle and BreeAna will be married in May 2019 and I cannot wait to continue documenting their love story!
