joie de vivre
evansville wedding photography of flower girl in white dress with horse

I think that senior portrait photography has become officially one of my favorite categories of photography to shoot! Any time you get to hand pick your location (and lighting) and combine that with young, energetic, fashionable, and fearless people, you get photos that are sure to please! And that is exactly what I got all wrapped up with a beautiful little bow on top named Michaela. I’m super grateful for her amazing mother, Sarah, who’s attention to detail in wardrobe styling was spot on and for her sweet sister, Emily, who was my right hand woman on this shoot! I don’t think I have had a better time just chit chatting, hanging out, goofing off, and…….oh………….just creating some of my favorite pieces of all time!!! And I’m also grateful for the challenge these ladies put forth to step outside of my comfort zone and try a few new tricks of the trade. I’m pretty happy with the results. What do you think?!
Congratulations to Michaela on her acceptance to BYU! She will be reuniting with her big sister there this summer and I can only imagine the amazing memories they are going to make!
PS — Are you not totally DYING over her gorgeous PROM DRESS?!?!?!?!?!
PPS — I seriously am in love with the last image so much I just had to include it in both color and B&W. Which do you prefer?
