About 5 days before Nate and Emily tied the knot, we met up at their reception venue where we shot all of their getting ready photos, details of Emily’s stunning dress, their first look, and their formal bride and groom portraits. It may shock some of you out there that they wanted to not only see each other all dolled up almost a week before their actual wedding, but had an entire shoot done too! I get that most people want a traditional wedding experience, seeing their sweetheart for the first time walking down the aisle and all. And I fully support my clients who want that!
But… let me just tell you why having a pre-wedding Bridal Session was so amazing…. Reason #1 and Done: TIME!!! We were able to take our time getting all of these lovely – no epic – photos that in the chaos of the wedding day may have been rushed if not totally put aside! There was no reminding the bride that it was taking too long for her to button up her gown, worrying about who was where and doing what, or whether or not we were going to mess any of the other vendors up or obliterate a tightly packed timeline because we were taking our time to get THE shot. Nate and Emily were relaxed and candid. I was relaxed too which allowed me to shoot with a clear head and be as creative as possible. AND, we were able to create every shot and record every moment without skipping a thing! The whole experience was pretty much perfect!
So without further ado, I present Nate and Emily’s Bridal Session!
