Spring has always been my favorite time of year, especially when it comes to photographing Yorba Linda spring family portraits! The world feels so fresh and full of promise, plus the temperatures are usually lovely. In honor of my favorite season, I am throwing it back to this beautiful family photo session for the Barrus Family.

Squishing In Tight

When it comes to family portrait sessions, getting close isn’t close enough! Nothing showcases the love shared between families more than squishing in tight. Nothing showcases personalities and the connections between family members more than eliminating every ounce of personal space too. That’s why I always love it when families are willing to pile up and let their love shine!

Those Sweet Baby Faces

Look at those precious faces! A mother’s dream! I always make sure to get a group photo of all of the children together as well as individuals of each child. Those sweet baby faces change so quickly, so having a beautiful portrait to preserve every chubby cheek, soft curl, and eyelash is so important! I love how the personality of each child shines through.
