Historic Boehne House Wedding Shoot

Weddings

If you’re looking for a small wedding venue or a great place for family, engagement, or senior portraits, look no further than the Historic Boehne House in Evansville, IN! This beautiful home has been restored over time and could be the perfect place to make memories that will last a lifetime.

The owner of this gorgeous property happens to be a friend of mine and she has been so gracious to offer her home up to me for sessions for lovers, friends, family and individuals. It’s so incredible to be able to incorporate something that speaks so boldly of the past, into the portrait collections of my clients in the present.

Percy Bysshe Shelley wrote,

“History is a cyclic poem written by Time upon the memories of man.”

I love imagining the great grandchildren of my clients marveling at the photos of their ancestors, just as I marvel at the photos of my ancestors and wonder about the details, stories, and happenings of their lives back then. The art of photography truly is poetry and I am so grateful to be a part of the cycle that extends throughout history!
