Engagements

Carson and Tyler met in High School, when Carson was a Junior and Tyler was a Senior. They became best friends, and eventually began dating. (Hands down, that’s the best way to do it, my friends!)

These two have now been together for 8 years and are so excited to finally get married in May of 2019! They are planning a beautiful ceremony and reception at one of my favorite wedding venues in the area, Corner House Bed and Breakfast. I can’t wait to see how all of their wedding day dreams come true!

The Engagement Session

Carson’s grandparents own an old quarry and Carson spent many of her childhood years there exploring, digging in the mud, and making beautiful memories. The quarry is conveniently located in her grandparents’ backyard, so this location has also been the setting for countless family gatherings. They have even built a small cabin, tree swing, fire pit, and covered picnic area to make their family adventures even more fun. The quarry also offers beautiful, moss-covered cliffs, boulders, and greenery. For obvious reasons, this is the section we decided to shoot in.

Talullah, Carson and Tyler’s beloved and quirky fur baby, was able to join us for part of the engagement session and I even got to hang out with her for a little while on my own while Carson had a wardrobe change. Talullah is adorable and has so much energy! It was a special treat to be able to get my puppy fix during this engagement shoot.

I cannot wait to share in Tyler and Carson’s wedding day! Nothing is more special to me than to be able to share my talents with truly amazing, salt-of-the-earth, kind-hearted people!
