Any time of year is a great time to have your photos taken but there are a few times of the year where photo sessions are especially fun! For me, I love spring photo shoots! I love the soft greens from newly budding leaves and the blossoms that are bursting all around. The light seems to be a bit softer, and of course the temperatures are much more bearable than those of the summer or winter seasons.
What makes having a spring photo session even more amazing, besides the reasons I mentioned above, is the fact that two super fun holidays happen during this season that are completely photo worthy!
Easter
If you’re anything like me, you’re a sucker for adorable Easter outfits for your kiddos. It just so happens that said outfits are the PERFECT wardrobe for family photos! Especially since the most popular colors during Easter are pastels, which look stunning with my editing style. So why not make those Easter outfits work double time?!
Mother’s Day
The other big holiday that happens during the Spring is Mother’s Day. Photo sessions make incredible Mother’s Day gifts! I can’t think of a single mom out there who wouldn’t adore having updated photos of her babies, or even photos of her WITH her babies. Moms are typically the dedicated family photographer, and as a mom myself, I know how rare it is to actually be IN a photo with my kids. Treat the special mother in your life to a day of pampering and a makeover, and then send her my direction to document her radiance.
Regardless if you choose to book family photos, photos of the kids in their Easter outfits, and/or a session honoring your wife, mother, or other special woman in your life, Spring is the season to do it! You’ll be extra happy you have those pictures, especially when Fall comes around bringing along all the hustle and bustle of the Holidays. You’ll have one less thing to check off your list of to-do’s and you’ll be able to get those Holiday cards out early!
