Jessica is just the sweetest mama and I am so thrilled she booked me for her in-home (lifestyle) newborn session! It can be a little nerve-racking doing in-home sessions because you never know if there is going to be good light, enough light, or the right kind of space available. But, Jessica’s home was jaw-dropping gorgeous and her cute little family was a dream!

The Family

We started in the the living room where Jessica and her little guy, Sawyer, fawned over the new addition to the family. Tyler joined in and we got some of the cutest family photos with the group snuggled on the couch. Next it was time for some fun in the Master Bedroom with Sawyer being his adorable toddler self while mom, dad, and sister giggled in the background.

Big Brother

Sawyer was really excited to show me his room and big boy bed! He and his daddy pulled out some books and had the sweetest moments while reading, tickling, and laughing. He had big plans for his moment in front of the camera with his little sister! Sawyer wanted to make sure I got photos of him reading to Abby Jo. And did I ever! Such a heart-melting little collection of images!

Mom and Dad

Next, it was Mom and Dad’s turn in the spotlight with little Abby Jo. The tenderness in their eyes when they looked at their precious baby was palpable. I adore each and every cuddly moment captured!

Abby Jo

One of my favorite items that Jessica pulled out for this shoot was an heirloom that belonged to Tyler’s 4 times Great Grandmother. This wooden cradle was purchased used, so by the family’s best guess, it is at least 115 years old. It was so pretty and an amazing way to honor the Campbell ancestors.

Abby Jo is the sweetest, calmest baby! She slept almost the entire time I was working, but made sure to open her eyes for a few photos. This little peanut is so darling and I adored the opportunity I had to snuggle her and document all of her newborn goodness.
