Stephanie and Logan are a couple that I bonded with over the course of the time we worked together. Finally photographing their wedding was a bitter sweet day for me, personally. I was really excited to finally celebrate with them, but I was also sad that it would be the beginning of the end of our working relationship. Fortunately for me, Stephanie and Logan shared that I will have many opportunities to work with them again in the future. This gives me lots to look forward to!
Getting Ready
Stephanie wanted to stay close to her church home and family for the wedding ceremony. She spent the morning glamming it up with her maids at Christian Fellowship Church in Evansville, IN. We made use of all of the pretty nooks and crannies around the church grounds for her getting ready photos, super emotional first looks with her dad and her groom, and Bridal Party Portraits.
First Looks
Speaking of First Looks, how tender are these moments?! My heart goes all a-flutter when I see the pure joy in Stephanie’s face. And those tears in the eyes of the two most important men in her life!
The Bride and Groom
Of course, the most magical moments of the whole day happened during Stephanie and Logan’s portraits together. I find it hard to think of new adjectives to describe a love that is obviously so deep, pure, and true. Logan was completely enamored with his beautiful bride. He handled her with the most gentle grace. She, in turn, showered him in adoration and ear to ear smiles.
The Ceremony
Tears and laughter overflowed during the marriage ceremony from Bride, Groom, and Family. This is a blessed union, indeed!
The Bridal Party
Logan and Stephanie included their closest friends and family in their bridal party. I think their faces show exactly how that decision turned out. I have never seen a jollier group!
The Reception
The reception was held at The Bauerhaus in Darmstadt. The grounds at this wedding venue provided the perfect backdrop for a few additional photos of the Bride and Groom, as well as the Bridal Party. Once inside, the toasts kicked of more belly laughs that continued on through the rest of the evening.
The Exit
Stephanie and Logan finished the festivities with a Sparkler Sendoff that was absolutely perfect! What a glorious way to end such a memorable day!
