I’m so excited to be offering Indianapolis wedding photography starting in 2022! There are still limited dates available for this season, and I will be opening my calendar for 2023 soon.
As I am preparing for this season I am thinking back on Kendall and Justin’s wedding. It was one of the high points from last wedding season. This early spring fete was the perfect pairing of glamor and fun. I’m sharing highlights from the Keuch wedding today!
Getting Ready
Kendall chose to keep this special moment between herself and her mother. My mama heart was absolutely bursting as her mom tenderly dressed her baby girl. We organized a first look with her bridesmaids once she was ready. Their reactions were everything a bride could hope for! I may or may not have teared up when I saw the maids’ eyes light up and heard their screams and cheers.
Justin also decided to keep his getting ready moments nice and simple and dressed in private. This allowed him to take a moment alone to read a beautifully written letter from Kendall.
The Ceremony
We whisked off to the church for their wedding ceremony as soon as the bride and groom were ready. Even though Catholic ceremonies tend to be a little long, there was never a moment when the upbeat energy radiating from this gathering dulled. There were plenty of moments of laughter throughout the service. Before we knew it, Kendall and Justin were pronounced ‘husband and wife’ and they were fist pumping down the aisle and through a flurry of ribbons as they exited their nuptials.
The Bridal Party
I had so much fun wrangling this rather large group! It was evident that this was deeply bonded group. I am thrilled with how the photos turned out. I especially loved the shade of green Kendall selected for her Bridesmaids’ gowns. It’s one of my favorite colors!
The Bride and Groom
Photogenic doesn’t even begin to describe Kendall and Justin. Kendall is literally what wedding photographer’s dreams are made of. Her intricate updo and sleek dress were the perfect coupling, made better only by her elegant veil. The photos are that much better because of perfect weather and sublime light.
The Reception
The best thing a bride and groom can do for their reception is to hire a live band. Live music brings so much energy to the room and every reception I have attended with it is over-the-top fun! I’m so glad Kendall and Justin made hiring a band a priority.
The sparkler exit was the crowning jewel of the night. I love these magical photos! I also love knowing it’s a moment my couples will display in their homes because it reminds them of one of the best days of their lives. It’s the definition of why I do what I do!
