Now that wedding season is upon us, I’m playing catch up on my blogging! But I wanted to get a post up about Lauren and TJ before they tie the knot on Saturday!

Engagement Session at Leonard Springs

We met at Leonard Springs Nature Park in Bloomington, Indiana to photograph Lauren and TJ’s Engagement Session. Tender shoots of spring greens were just starting to emerge from the trees and the air was crisp and fresh. We chose Leonard Springs not only because of its natural beauty, but also because TJ and Lauren’s favorite activities and memories are all outdoors.

About the Couple

TJ’s favorite things revolve around hunting and fishing and Lauren loves joining him for all kinds of outdoor adventures. They love hiking, riding side by sides, going to sporting events, and spending time at the lake.

When they aren’t busy spending time with each other and Mother Nature, Lauren and TJ are working at National Gypsum. That’s where they met! Lauren is a Safety/Environmental Coordinator and TJ is a foreman.

Best Christmas Ever

After two and a half years of dating, TJ proposed to Lauren on one of the happiest days of the year: Christmas. They were exchanging gifts when TJ surprised Lauren with an engagement ring, the gift of a lifetime! Of course she accepted his proposal and the rest is history!

Q: What are some fun or interesting facts about your relationship?

A: We are nearly 11 years apart in age!

Q: Each of you describe the other in 5 words.

TJ: Lauren is smart, caring, driven, funny, and extremely stubborn.

Lauren: TJ is strong willed, hardworking, determined, easy going, and snarky.

Q: What is your favorite thing about each other?

TJ: My favorite thing about Lauren is how smart and driven she is.

Lauren: My favorite thing about TJ is his excitement for life and his willingness to try new things.

Q: What about your wedding are you most excited for?

TJ: To marry Lauren and call her my wife.

Lauren: to get to marry my best friend.

I’m so excited to be celebrating the soon-to-be Mr. and Mrs. Albaugh at their wedding at The Loft at Walnut Hill in Bedford, IN! I know their wedding will be beautiful and filled to the brim with love and laughter.
