I’m so excited to share this charming wedding at White Pine Manor in Brazil, Indiana! White Pine Manor is a new wedding venue that was expertly designed with wedding photography in mind. The quaint barn venue is located on 16 acres of wooded property and offers plenty of bang for your buck. Besides having ample photographic vignettes available for wedding photos, there is an inviting open air space for outdoor ceremonies (and/or receptions), a small covered patio (perfect for dancing and/0r cocktail hour), and a clean and bright indoor space complete with bathrooms, a kitchen, and Bridal Suite. The barn is the perfect blank canvas for any bride to make her own. White Pine Manor’s staff generously offer their expertise and resources to truly help create dream weddings. My experience photographing this wedding at White Pine Manor was nothing short of wonderful, and I cannot wait to photograph more weddings there in the future!
Getting Ready
Audri and Cody spent the morning with family and friends and Audri’s parent’s house nearby White Pine Manor. She and her girls took over the main house to primp and prep while the boys had access to the basement and back patio. Audri looked brilliant in her slim wedding gown and up-do, only made lovelier by adding on the final touches of veil and cherished jewelry.
Cody relaxed al fresco on the patio with his groomsmen. They drove golf balls into the lake and enjoyed leisurely drinks before heading inside to don their own accoutrements.
The First Look(s)
Audri wanted to make sure to include her and Cody’s baby in the first look. I’m so glad she did; it was absolutely precious! Walker was so excited to see his mommy! Almost as excited as Cody was to see Audri!
The Ceremony
We whisked away to White Pine Manor for Cody and Audri’s wedding ceremony. Audri embraced the autumn season and placed pretty pots of mums and a variety of pumpkins down the wedding aisle. We lucked out with exquisite weather that day and the outdoor nuptials were perfection. The light streamed through the trees casting a heavenly glow on the entire event.
The Reception
The wedding reception was nestled inside the white walls of White Pine Manor’s barn. Laugther, food, fun, and tears flowed freely while the new Mr. and Mrs. celebrated their day with friends and family. Some of my favorite highlights from the reception were when Walker cut in on Audri’s father-daughter dance, the touching audio recorded speech from Cody’s best man who was unable to make the wedding due to a dangerous storm in his area, and the unbridled dancing to some really great tunes provided by the DJ.
The Bridal Party
I love how Audri and Cody decided to style their Bridesmaids and Groomsmen! The mauve suits and burgundy gowns complimented each other while also contrasted with the pretty greenery at the venue. They were a really dashing group and so much fun to photograph.
The Bride and Groom
I ADORE how these portraits turned out so much! I really have to give some credit to the planning of where this venue was built! I had so much great light to work with, all in the direction and angle that allowed me to really maximize Audri and Cody’s photos. There are a lot of amazing wedding venues out there, but oftentimes I find myself scrambling to find outdoor spots with good light on a wedding day. Especially because on wedding days, the majority of the time I am working with difficult lighting situations. I didn’t have an ounce of trouble finding light I wanted to work with in areas that were both beautiful and convenient to get to. Bravo, White Pine Manor, for putting so much thought into the placement and construction of your space!
Cody and Audri were so much fun to work with! My cheeks were a little bit sore from smiling all day long. They were up for anything, drama-free, and just wanted to have fun while they celebrated their marriage. I am so grateful they chose me to document their wedding for them!
If you’re planning a wedding at White Pine Manor in Brazil, Indiana, I would LOVE to talk to you about photographing your day! I really enjoyed my experience working there and I have no doubt that any bride who books her wedding at this phenomenal venue will be just as happy!
